As you might have read in the news feed earlier, we went to Berlin for this year's spring conference. During the weekend we set up a challenge to create a new Android app all the way from brainstorming to publication before heading home.

The result was Shary - an app for internal communication both for Android and iPhone. Read more about the creation process in the ayond blog.

Last week ayond CEO Thomas Arctaedius was invited to SEB, one of Sweden’s largest bank to talk about mobile trends. The slides can be found here (in Swedish). The presentation highlights some factors that can influence an organization’s ability to become a trend creating organization instead of just following trends, also making references to interesting current trends.

Today KTH students from the master programme Media Technology visited us at the ayond office to hear more about the company and especially how we work with user experience.

It is a great way to narrow the gap that sometimes exists between academia and the private sector.
